College Facilities
Common Rooms
The Junior Common Room is the main social area at the college, has a large TV with Foxtel and a 24/7 student-run canteen. Other common spaces include a Senior Common Room, which is commonly used for study, a Pool Room with a pool table, large TV, and computers, the New Buttery with a table tennis table, TV and study spaces.
Cooking and Eating
Christ College has an on-campus restaurant, Pepperz, with breakfast, lunch and dinner meals available 7-days a week for student prices.
There is a 24/7 student-run canteen which is available to residents for snacks such as garlic bread, pizzas, spring rolls, chocolate and chips.
For those interested in cooking, Christ College has a large communal kitchen with ovens, stoves, benches, fridges and lockers. There are kitchenettes on each floor with kettles, toasters and microwaves, and where residents can use their own appliances, such as rice or slow cookers. Each single room comes with its own fridge.
The dining room is situated next to the kitchens and is used for dining, communal dinners, and tea parties. Vending machines are also available.
There is an outdoor BBQ and dining area which can be used by residents for free.
Other Amenities
The College has a large laundry with free use, on-site parking, multiple outside communal areas, an amphitheater, and a music room with instruments.
Free wifi, free Accommodation Services bus charter which runs to all Hobart campuses and the Sandy Bay shopping center and supermarkets.
What rooms are available?
Room types
There are many types of rooms available at the College:

Single rooms - the room type most common at the College, is the standard room and contains a small fridge, wardrobe, desk and bed.

Shared twin rooms - options are available to share a two-bed larger room with a roommate.

Lifer rooms - these rooms are typically larger and can come with couches and bigger fridges, depending on the room.

Ensuite rooms - these rooms are larger and come with an attached bathroom.

Flats - flats all share a bathroom, kitchen, lounge room and dining area. There are multiple flat options at the College, including a one-bedroom flat, three two-bedroom flats, a three-bedroom flat, a six-bedroom flat, and an eight-bedroom flat.
